The first thing done was to move the dryer from its current location, seen above, to the room previously occupied only by the furnace. The picture at the right shows the area after the furnace room partition had been removed. This wall will be reconstructed later. |

A new electrical line was run to the dryer's new location, spliced from the original line. |
Here, the dryer sits in its new home. The vent is temporarily connected to a ductless vent contraption until proper ducting can be installed. The washer will eventually be moved next to it, but other aspects of the basement must be completed before the washer can be moved, |
