In May of 2003, the old asphalt driveway was ripped apart and replaced with a new concrete driveway.  The new driveway can hold three cars side-by-side at its widest point.
Terry Ertel works on breaking up the asphalt and loading it into a dump truck.

Mackenzie supervises Terry's work.
The old basketball hoop and pole were removed to make room for the new driveway.  Here, Terry uses a concrete saw to break apart the concrete holding the pole.

A view of the driveway area after the asphalt had been removed.  Notice the wood framing already in place for the new concrete pouring.

Here, the concrete is poured into the wooden forms.

The picture below shows a transition between the asphalt driveway and the new concrete one.  Please be patient, as this feature may take a while to load for slower connections.
